There is nothing like a mother and her son conecting together, although she can’t teach how to be a man she give him a lot of love. God’s Eternal Gift
Because God knew he would sometimes take our loved ones, his own, away from us too soon, he created the eternal gift of Memories for us to hold on to. Use them to get you through the rough times. If you can’t eat, think about him eating his favorite food. If you can’t sleep, think about the time he came into your room because he wanted to snuggle up with you that night. It won’t make it easier, it will make it bearable. Until there can be two sets of “Footprints in the Sand,” again.

Hello Sybrina,
We will probably never meet but I hope to encourage you. Please know that Trayvon fulfilled some of his purpose in helping to create the conversation about race in this nation. I know I would never want that purpose in all honesty for my children if it has to come the way it came for Trayvon, but you have shown such dignity and grace through out it all.
